Colorado Dems kill House bill to allow teachers to carry guns

This message from Colorado Republicans: “Today, Colorado Democrats voted to leave our children defenseless on school grounds.House Minority Leader Patrick Neville introduced a bill to allow qualified teachers and staff to carry concealed handguns on school grounds, should they elect to do so. Democrats on the House State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee killed it on 6-3, party-line vote. By saying “no” to Neville’s House Bill 19-1049, Democrats today said “yes” to leaving our students and schools as soft targets. “

Colorado: House Committee to Consider Magazine Ban Repeal

On Thursday, January 24, the House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee is scheduled to consider House Bill 1021. Please contact committee members and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 1021.

House Bill 1021, seeks to repeal the misguided 2013 law that limited the amount of ammunition a firearm magazine can hold. By removing this restriction, law-abiding Coloradans are not limited in their ability to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Again, please contact members of the House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 1021.
